Desert Island Pan provides a solo steel drum performing to background tracks. Don't worry about providing the sound system...I will bring one! Need a microphone for your event? Performances are available at the standard rate in Midland, Odessa, West Odessa, Greenwood, Gardendale, Stanton, Big Spring, Crane, Andrews, and Monahans. I will travel longer distances for an additional rate of $1 per mile (one-way) as calculated on Google's mapping service. The standard rates for a steel drum performance are:
Rate (per hour): $200
Rehearsals: $100 per hour

One hour includes a 50 minute set of music and a short break. The steel drum is a very delicate instrument which does not respond well to heat. Due to this, the drum must be in a shaded area. If a shaded area can not be supplied, I can bring a canopy. In addition, I will need to know if power is available at the performance site well in advance so I can make plans to bring a power supply if one is unavailable.
